PERIODISTAS SE CAPACITAN Y JURAMENTAN PRIMERA JUNTA RAPCOS / REPORTER RECEIVES TRAINING AND SWORN IN TO THE NEW BOARD (RAPCOS)

Periodistas se capacitan y juramentan primera junta (RAPCOS)

Periodistas y comunicadores del Municipio de Roatán y afiliados a gremios se capacitaron en el tema de libertad de expresión, dicha capacitación fue realizada por el comité por la libertad de expresión (C-LIBRE) esta organización se dedica a defender el derecho de la libertad de expresión, derecho garantizado en la constitución de la republica de Honduras y acuerdos internacionales. Para esta capacitación se invito a la mayoría de los comunicadores para forma parte de la red de comunicadores y periodistas, a esta invitación asistieron los comunicadores interesados en fortalecer el gremio que ya existe en Roatán, que por razones de ideología política, y competencia de medios se han distanciado, las conclusiones finales en el tema de libertad de expresión fue que hay grupos que gustan ver este tipo de gremios desorganizado para garantizar sus acciones fuera de ley, de igual forma a los gobiernos les conviene tener a los periodistas distanciados y con algún compromiso para que estos no puedan denunciar ni hacer investigaciones de casos que afectan a la sociedad en general, o beneficiar a grupos específicos, con la creación de la (RAPCOS) los comunicadores sociales tienen un enorme compromiso con la sociedad, misma que cree y tiene fe en que los periodistas y comunicadores sean los que informen con ética y lo mas pegado a la verdad,  dejando su simpatía por cualquier partido político, la junta se eligió al concluir la capacitación, los que asistieron propusieron a  José Ramón Romero como presidente de la (RAPCOS) también a Marco Tulio Chicas Lara, quien asumió el cargo de Vice. Presidente, Doris Suyapa Escobar, ocupo el cargo de secretaria, Gustavo Arriola, como tesorero, y José Suazo Romero, como fiscal.  La junta tendrá un periodo de trabajo de un año, en ese tiempo deberán gestionar capacitaciones a nivel local, y nacional. 

 REPORTER RECEIVES TRAINING AND SWORN IN  TO THE NEW BOARD (RAPCOS)

Reporters and communicators from the Municipality of Roatan and its unión members received training on freedom of expression. This training was presented by the committee for the freedom of expression (C-LIBRE). This organization is dedicated to defending the rights of freedom of expression guaranteed in the Constitution of the Republic of Honduras and in  international agreements. The majority of the communicators were invited to this training that is part of the network of communicators and reporters. People who came to this training were  interested in strenghtening the unión that already exists in Roatan and for reasons like political ideology and media competition have distanced themselves The final conclusión in the freedom of expression was that there are groups who would like to see these types of unions to be disorganized to guarantee that there actions would be outside of the law. At the same time, it’s in the interest of the government to have the reporters divided and compromised so that they cannot denounce or investigate cases that affect the society in general or benefit specific groups. With the creation of RAPCOS the social communicators will have an enormous commitment to society and they believe will put a great trust in reporters and communicators that will inform with ethics and truth forgetting any allegiance to any political party. The Board was elected at the end of the training. Those who atended nominated Juan Ramon Romero as President of RAPCOS also Marco Tulio Chicas Lara as Vice President, Doris Suyapa Escobar as Secretary, Gustavo Arriola as Treasurer and Jose Suazo Romero as Fiscal. The Board will be in power for one year and during that time they will request trainings at the local and national level.
