En la pasada visita del presidente Porfirio Lobo Sosa a la comunidad de Punta Gorda, se tomo unos minutos para leer el periódico mensual INFOINSULAR el presidente felicito a José Ramón Romero por la iniciativa de emprender con un periódico bilingüe. Te felicito seguí adelante espero que sea una empresa de buena reputación y un medio escrito de mucho peso en el país no solo aquí en las Islas. Fueron las palabras de Lobo Sosa hacia el director y fundador de INFOINSULAR, a estas felicitaciones también se sumo la designa presidencial Lic. María Antonieta de Bogran. Guaooo que bueno este periódico te felicito, mira qué bueno para Islas de La Bahía, están muy bien y muy interesante porque es bilingüe. Muchas felicidades y seguí adelante dijo la designada. También el presidente de ODECO Celio Alvarez Casildo tambien aprovecho y hacho una mirada a INFOINSULAR, el ministro de la Etnias Luis Green no se quedo atrás para ver la ultima edición de INFOINSULAR. Las felicitaciones fueron personal mente y con apretón de mano por parte del presidente al igual que por parte de la designada presidencial.
During the last visit of President Mr. Porfirio Lobo to the community of Punta Gorda he took a few minutes to read the monthly newspaper INFOINSULAR. The President congratulated Jose Ramon Romero for his entrepreneurial initiative to develop a bilingual newspaper. “I congratulate you. Keep going I hope its a business with a good reputation and a written media with influence countrywide not only here on the Island.” These were the words of Mr. Lobo Sosa to the Director and Founder of INFOINSULAR. To these congratulatons was added the Presidential Designee Lic. Maria Antonieta de Bogran, “This newspaper is very good. I congratulate you. This is very good for the Bay Islands. Its very good and very interesting because it is bilingual. Congratulations and continue.” The President of the Organization of Ethnic Communities (ODECO) Mr. Celeo Alvarez Casildo also looked at INFOINSULAR. The Minister of Ethnic Groups Mr. Luis Green also looked at the last issue of INFOINSULAR. The congratulations were personal and with a handshake by the President and the Presidential Designee.
