El 12% se quedara en las Islas: Lobo Sosa
En su pasada visita el mandatario de la republica Porfirio Lobo Sosa manifestó que cumplirá la promesa que hiso a las autoridades del Departamento en que el doce por ciento sobre venta se quede aquí y se puedan utilizar esos fondos para proyectos. Cumpliremos esa promesa después de los comicios se pasara al Congreso Nacional el ante proyecto de ley, ahí se ratificara luego ustedes tendrán ese beneficio dijo el mandatario, se le pregunto de nuevo cuando seria fecha que se empezara a cumplirse dicho beneficio fiscal en el departamento, el mandatario no dio una fecha específica solo reitero que se enviaría el ante proyecto de ley al Congreso para que los diputados lo aprueben. Esta noticia agrado a los habitantes del departamento, con esta medida las autoridades municipales podrán acceder a la ejecución de más proyectos, para un sector de la población esto generar más burocracia ya que se tendrá que instalar una oficina para el manejo de dichos fondos y se contratara personal para la misma. Otros son de la opinión que fue una promesa de campaña y que el ante proyecto de ley no pasara a mas que eso solo un proyecto, citamos a los elegidos por el pueblo para la administración 2014 al 2018 y manifestaron que ellos siempre han solicitado que los fondos recaudados se quede aquí que no es nada nuevo y esperan que no solo haya sido una promesa de campaña para contribuir con el partido en el poder, esperamos que se cumpla, lo que si garantizamos nosotros es que los fondos se utilizaran con la mayor transparencia. During his last visit to the Island the leader of of the Republic, Mr. Porfirio Lobo Sosa stated, “the promise I made to the auhorities of the Department that the 12% sale tax will be remain here and these funds can be used for projects stands. We will keep our promise. After the elections I will send a draft of the law to the National Congress. They will ratify it and then you will reap the benefits.” He was asked again on what date will this financial benefit will take effect in the Department? The leader did not give a specific date. He repeated that the draft of the law will be sent to Congress for the representatives to approve it. This news pleased the authorities of the Department because with this law the municipal authorities will be able to develop more projects. For a sector of the population this will generate more bureaucracy because there will be a need for an office to manage these funds and peronnel must be hired. Others are of the opinión that it was a campaign promise and that the draft of the law will be only that; a draft of the law. We contacted those selected by the people for the administration 2014-2018 and they stated that we have always requested that the funds collected remain here. This is nothing new and they hope that it’s not just a campaign promise to help the party to remain in power. “We hope that it happens.
